The production collection of 2012 Beijing International Youth Theatre Festival (BIYTF) is already launched to theatre professionals in China as well as outstanding theatre companies all over the world. Regardless of nationalities and region, those young creators and amateurs of theatre are entitled to sign up until April 30. In this session, one can sign up for the following four parts, stage performance, literary script reading, exhibition of stage arts and lighting design, and key-note speech in theatre forum. In particular, stage performance must involve the manuscript (conception in case of body language theatre, dance and multimedia theatre), synopsis, director’s note, cast introduction and personal resume. 

It is learned that Beijing will still be the host city and young directors will be the mainstream in this BIYTF. In such platforms as stage performance, literary script reading, theatre education workshop and theatre development symposium, young theatre talents will be encouraged to showcase their original creation and perfect their practice. With the mission of fostering young theatre talents, promote theatre prosperity and international exchange, and continue splendor of new century’s theatre, BIYTF, since 2008, has taken place on 4 occasions and brought about a series of outstanding young directors and theatre productions.
