<p>　　习近平总书记日前对文物工作作出重要指示时强调，各级党委和政府要增强对历史文物的敬畏之心，树立保护文物也是政绩的科学理念。提法新颖、振奋人心。</p>
<p>　　曾几何时，在各地城市化、工业化浪潮的推进中，许多珍贵文物遭到破坏，不少积淀着岁月人文的古迹和遗存被伤损，甚至毁于一旦，让我们这个世界文物大国感到很受伤。现实中，确实存在一些领导干部“讲起来重要，做起来不要”的现状，要么以“文化要给经济发展让路”为由，要么以“没有财力保护”作借口。正是诸如此类的观念作祟，我们的不少珍贵文物成了永远的记忆。94岁高龄的文保专家谢辰生曾感叹：“文化是根，是魂；断了根，没了魂，民族就完了。 ”</p>
<p>　　新的时代背景下，文物保护亟待各级政府遵循科学发展观，主动担当，更有作为。前不久召开的国务院常务会议上提出，要“建立文物保护责任终身追究制” ，就构筑了一个“硬指标” 。可预期的是，伴随着“保护文物也是政绩”深入人心，各地“文保政绩”被纳入到相关考核中去，必将有效推动文物保护工作的落实和完善。在这些硬杠杠的约束下，各地打着“开发保护”旗号，“农村拆古镇，城市毁故居”等不良行为将得到有效遏制，文物保护现状亦将大大改善。</p></div>
