<p align="justify">　　法国艺术家Laramée就是其中代表之一，他是一名跨领域艺术家，同时还是一名作家、导演、作曲家和人类学家。从单纯的景观到具有禅宗思想的佩特拉神庙花园都有可能进入他的作品之中。过去的三十年，他的作品更多关注“文化的消亡” ，他认为：过时文化总是被新文化所取代。事实上人们正在宣判纸质书籍和图书馆的死刑。</p>
<p align="justify">　　在某种程度上， Laramée的这些用旧书做雕刻的作品暗示着一种对知识的掘墓，而书籍正是知识的最好代言人。Laramée认为，旧知识早晚会被新的知识取代。他用旧书雕刻浪漫的景观，隐喻让废弃如山的知识回到它们原本应该在的地方。对书雕感兴趣的可不止法国艺术家Laramée一人， Dettmer是一个获得众多关注的书雕艺术家。他的传记曾发表在《纽约时报》《Vogue》 （意大利）等知名媒体上。他的作品也已经被展出在美国、欧洲和墨西哥等地。</p>
