Literature & Art, an Unknown Taste to Expore
Art Exchange VOL.04/2017|

In the article of Hong Kong writer ZHOU Jieru concerning the Hearst Castle, it deliberately describes those antiques with a strong smell, closely relating to the present statue of exchange of literature and art. The essence of photography, art and performing arts of Roof of the World, the Tibetan Plateau presented at La Réunion, the Roof of Indian Ocean, or the culture collision derived from the Peking Opera Great Snow of YU Kuizhi conducted by a German artist is the fresh taste of art communication. How the Chinese audiences appreciate the far-reaching October Revolution from the cultural relics and artworks with a 100-year history, how the modern people admire the evolution of Four Great Painters of Wu School, or the unprecedented discussion amongst global photographers concerning VR at Lishui international photography festival, these all might be the diverse Taste of literature and art.

YU Kwang-Chung, a renowned Taiwan poet passed away in mid-December. The poet in a homesick mood, who hasn’t returned the Chinese mainland for over 20 years, wrote down the Nostalgia at his former residence in Xiamen St., Taipei in 1971. The poem enjoys most high reputation amongst global Chinese people for more than 40 years, in other words, it also solidifies into a strong taste of culture. What is the taste of literature and art exchanges? Perhaps it can only be caught by people with much subtleness and sensitiveness—— marking a leap between diverse senses of literature and art.
