“Into the East Africa—Contemporary Selected Traditional Chinese Paintings Exhibition”, jointly sponsored by China Artists Association (CAA), Chinese Embassy in Mauritius, Chinese Cultural Center in Mauritius and Rongbaozhai Art Gallery, was held from July 18 till 25 at Chinese Cultural Center in Mauritius, which involved over 30 pieces of selected artworks by 33 contemporary Chinese fine arts masters such as Liu Dawei, Wu Changjiang, Long Rui and Xie Zhigao. It is the first time that CAA has sponsored painting exhibition in East African countries. This exhibition belongs to the series event “World Journey of Chinese Fine Arts”, a brand event in the course of CAA’s active involvement with international fine arts exchange in an extensive way.
