Christie’s auction of Asian Art Week of Fall 2013 was held from September 17th to 20th. During these four days of Asian Art Week, eight excellent sessions of auction occurred in succession and presented many items of contemporary Indian art, jade sculpture and ancient bronze wares and other personal prized collections of different types. Christie’s auction also held a private sales exhibition entitled “Super/Natural: Contemporary Korean Art” as the first show of this type with the focus on four Korean artists’ understanding of nature and supernatural power.
