Xu Hongfei Sculpture Exhibition shows Epic of Civilian
Art Exchange VOL.01/2013|

   

Epic of Civilian—Xu Hongfei Sculpture Exhibition held in National Art Museum of China during March 28 to April 6, organized by publicity office of Guang Zhou Municipal Committee, Fine Art Association of Guang Dong Province,Sculpture Magazine and Guangzhou Sculpture Academy. The exhibition totally showed fifty-six stunning sculpture works, made by the principal of Guang Zhou Sculpture Academy——Xu Hongfei.

Luo Yiping, the principal of National Art Museum of China, was also the curator of the exhibition. He lead audiences to review the art history and experience of Xu Hongfei, meanwhile, encouraging artists to explore a new apperception and entrust of art essence. In Xu Hongfei’s work, various sculptures of plentiful women were made of jade, white marble and cast copper. He placed common people to the same height as god and hero by the using of civilian narration.

Xu Hongfei is National A Level Artist and hold a post as director in Fine Art Association of Guang Dong Province. His representative work series— Plentiful Women is famous in China,and also favored by critics and masses. Happy Victory was confirmed to attend the global awards of The Third Olympic Sports and Art Competition in april, 2008, organized by International Olympic committee. Has to be mentioned, he is the only one to attend this competition for China. His work has been collected by Swedish International Olympic Committee. Additional, his work has exhibited and won many awards in global.
