Animated I Ching on German TV

Soon after the animated I Ching literarily Classic of Changes was premiered on NRW Television of Germany on August 9, a sensation was extensively aroused among German audiences from all walks of life. Many German audiences exchanged their views, expressed a strong interest in I Ching and traditional Chinese culture, and even request to order the entire DVD of this animation. 

As a first creative animated study of Chinese culture broadcast abroad, this program consisted of three volumes, Fu Xi Volume, Confucius Volume and Zhou King Volume. In a realistic and aesthetic style, with interesting explanation and humorous plots, this program aimed at introducing such a special kind of Chinese philosophy. Another highlight of this animation is that quantities of original music is live recorded through tens of traditional Chinese musical instruments such as Zither, Qin, Yun, Flute and Pipa. As Ralf G. Neumann, director of NRW TV Station, said, this animation effectively provided the easiest interpretation of Chinese philosophy despite a new trial.
