In August, International Folk Arts Festival that was held on the Plaza of National Palace of Culture in the heart of Sofia City, Capital of Bulgaria had attracted folk arts troupes from more than 10 countries, including Italy, Turk, Austria, Mexico, Sylvia, Ukraine, Indonesia, Poland, Salvador, China and Bulgaria to present the devoted performances for the audiences. Guangdong Folk Arts Troupe with 41 members organized by Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles was invited to participate in this Festival. 

Guangdong Folk Arts Troupe had brought along the remarkably excellent performing items, including Liannan Long Drum Dancing, Diabolo Playing and the shaping performance of ju-jitsu, Chinese Dragon Playing and Guangdong Waking Lion Playing. All these performing items artistically presented the regional characteristics, local human outlook, excellent national folk arts and the achievements of mass culture in recent years.
